1. MADAM WINIFRED WONDONG, PRINCIPAL

Madam Winifred Porsaa Wondong had her senior high education at St. Francis Girls Senior High School, Jirapa in the Upper West Region of Ghana. She then proceeded to the Nurses' and Midwives' Training College, Tamale where she pursued the State Registered Nursing (SRN) and graduated in 1992. In 1995 she graduated from the Nursing and Midwifery Training College, Kumasi with a certificate in Registered Midwifery. She then obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Ghana in 2004. She also has a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of Cape coast, Ghana. Currently she holds a Master of Science degree in midwifery from the University of Nottingham, UK which she acquired in 2014.

2. ALHASSAN MERRIGA RUKAYA, (RETIRED)

Madam Rukaya Merriga Alhasssan had her high school education at Tamale Business School in the Northern region of Ghana. From there she proceeded to the Tamale Community Nurses Training School, where she pursued a certificate in Community Health Nursing and graduated with credits in all subjects in 1990. She then continue to Tamale Nurses' Training School where she pursued Diploma in General Nursing graduating with distinction in practicals in 2002. She then pursued midwifery in the Kumasi Midwifery Training School graduating with distinction in Anatomy and Paediatric and credit in Midwifery paper in 2004. In 2008, she acquired an Advance Diploma in Public Health Nursing at Korle - Bu Public Health Nursing School. She went on to acquire a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at University for Development Studies, Tamale campus graduating with Second Class honors in 2012. Currently she holds a Master of Arts degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Cape Coast in 2015.

3. YUNUS FAIZA, HEAD OF FINANCE

Mrs Yunus Faiza had her high school education at the Ghana Senior High School in the Northern region of Ghana. From there she proceeded to Tamale Polytechnic where she pursued her Higher National Diploma in Accounting in 2006, She then went on to acquire a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting Option)at the University of Cape Coast.

4. JAMANI RABIU, ADMINISTRATOR

Mr Jamani Rabiu had his high school education at the Business Secondary School in the Northern Region of Ghana. From there he proceeded to the Tamale Technical University in Tamale where he pursued His Higher National Diploma in Secretaryship and Management Studies in 2005. He then went on to acquire a Bachelor of Business Management at the University of Cape Coast in 2012. Currently he holds a masters degree in Human Resource Management also from the University of Cape Coast whcih he acqiured in 2018. He was first posted to Yendi Municipal Health Directorate in 2006 as a Senior Executive Officer, he was reposted to Mion District Health Directorate in 2014 as an Administrative Manager, he was later posted to Gushegu Nursing and Midwifery Training College in 2018. He is married with three kids. He was born on 10th August, 1981 in Daboya in the North Gonja District of the Savannah Region.

5. BADEME MATHILDA, SECRETARY

Mrs Bademe Bagyiire Mathilda had her school education at Jirapa Senior High School in the Upper West Region of Ghana. From there she proceeded to Wa Worker's College to pursued secretarial option and typist grade one in 2003. She then went on to acquire Diploma in Business Studies in Secretarial option Tamale Worker's College in 2012.

6. YAKUBU ADAM, VICE PRINCIPAL

Mr Adam Yakubu had his high school education at the Tamale Senior High School in the northern region of Ghana. From there, he proceeded to the Nursing and Midwifery Training College in Tamale where he pursued his Diploma in General Nursing graduating with distinction in 2008. He then went on to acquire a Bachelor of education in Health Science at University for Development Studies, Tamale where he graduated with second class upper honours in 2014. Currently he holds a masters degree in Public Health - Pupolation and Reproductive Health from the University of Science & Technology, Kumasi which he acquired in 2018

7. YAKUBU IBRAHIM, TUTOR

Ibrahim Yakubu holds a MSc in health Education from Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 2018, graduated from the University for Development studies with B.Ed. health Education in 2014 and trained at Bolgatanga Nursing Training College (RGN) in 2008. Since joining the school in 2014, he has contributed to train nurses and midwives to function in a multi-disciplinary health team, supervised health systems related research by students, conducted and incorporated research findings to improve teaching and learning and collaborated with other professionals, staff, students and communities to uplift the image of the school. His current research focus is on Nursing Education, Adolescent reproductive health, maternal and child health, as well as public health interventional studies and systematic reviews.

9. ZIMTANI RAYMOND, PROCUREMENT OFFICER

Mr. Raymond Zimtani is a Senior Health Tutor at the Nursing and Midwifery Training College , Gushegu. He attended the Navrongo Senior High School(NAVASCO) in the Upper East Region of Ghana from 2003 to 2005 where he obtained his Senior High School Certificate. He proceeded to the Nursing Training College , Bolgatanga in the year 2006 to 2009 where he completed with a Diploma in Registered General Nursing(RGN). Following his completion of the Nursing Training College and obtaining his license to practice as a nurse in Ghana from the Nursing and Midwifery council, Ghana , he was posted to the Sandema District Hospital to undertake a mandatory one(1) year orientation . He was subsequently posted to the Karaga District Hospital as a Staff Nurse in 2011. After working for a year , he proceeded to the University for Development Studies(UDS) to Pursue a BSc in Nursing degree between 2012 to 2014, and obtained a BSc in Nursing ( Second Class Upper). He then returned to the following year(2017) where he pursued a Masters degree in Public Health (MPH) and completed in 2018. Currently , Mr. Raymond Zimtani is a student at the University of Cape coast where he is pursuing a Masters degree in Administration in Higher Education.

11. MOHAMMED ABDUL-MUMIN, IT OFFICER

Mr Mohammed Abdul-Mumin had his high school education at the Kalpohin Senior High School in the Northern region of Ghana. From there he proceeded to the Navrongo campus of the University for Development Studies where he pursued a first degree in Computer Science graduating in 2012. He then had his national seervice duty at the Tamale Technical University where he worked at the Computer Science department as a teaching assistant for a year. Currently he serves as the IT Officer for the Gushegu Nursing and Midwifery Training College, a position he has held since moving to the institution in 2014.

13. FRANK OBENG, TUTOR, ESTATES OFFICER

Frank Obeng is an old student of Kumasi High School; Kintampo College of Health; and University of Cape Coast. He completed these schools between the periods of 2001-2004; 2006-2009; and 2013-2016 respectively. He obtained SSCE certificate in General Agricultural Science; Diploma in Technical Officer, Community Health (Disease control); and B.ed. Health Sciences in the above stated schools respectively. I'm currently a Senior Health Tutor in NMTC, Gushegu in the Northern Region of Ghana

14. IDDRISU SHARIFA, TUTOR

Mrs Sharifa Iddrisu had her high school education at the Dagbong state Senior/Technical School in Yendi in the Northern region of Ghana. From there She proceeded to the Tamale community health Nursing Training College in Tamale where she pursued her Community health Nursing and graduated with certificate in Community health nursing in 2006.She then went on to acquire a post Basic midwifery in the Gushegu Nursing and Midwifery Training College and acquired a certificate in registered midwifery in 2014 . She then went to University of Cape Coast and pursued her Diploma in Registered midwifery and graduated with Second class in 2019 and currently She holds a Bachelor of Science in public health which She graduated with Second Class honours from the Catholic University college of Ghana in 2012.

15. MOHAMMED KARIMA, TUTOR, WELFARE TUTOR

Bolgatanga Girls Senior High School (BOGISS), in the upper east region was where she had her secondary education from 2000-2003.From there she proceeded to Gbewaa college of education, Pusiga to pursue diploma in basic education and later went to Bolgatanga Midwifery Training college to pursue diploma in midwifery and successfully passed the licensing exam conducted by NMC with credit in anatomy and physiology of the human reproductive system and fetus. Also, she holds Bsc in midwifery from the University for development studies Tamale campus and is currently pursuing a masters program in community health and development still with UDS Tamale campus.

16. FELIX AMANATEY, TUTOR, CLINICAL COORDINATOR

Mr. Felix Amanatey had his high school education at the Sogakope Senior High School in the Volta Region of Ghana from the year 2003-2006. From there he proceeded to the Nurses' Training College in Pantang, Greater Accra where he pursued his Diploma in Registered Mental Health Nursing with basics in General Nursing graduating with distinction in 2011. He then went on to acquire a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He graduated with Second Class Upper from the university in 2015. Since joining the school in 2017, he has contributed immensely in assisting student nurses and midwives acquire relevant practical skills which is needed to function effectively in a multi-disciplinary health team. He is currently a Senior Health Tutor in NMTC, Gushegu in the Northern Region of Ghana.

17. KOLBUGRI PAUL, TUTOR, GENDER FOCAL PERSON

Mr Paul Kolbugri had his basic and secondary education in Wa, the Upper West Region of Ghana. In 2005, he completed Lassia Tuolu SHS (St Ignatious of Loyola) in Lassia – Wa West District. He proceeded to Tamale Nursing and Midwifery Training College and graduated with a diploma in General Nursing certificate in 2009. He worked as bedside Nurse and later enrolled into a BSc Nursing program in University for Development studies where he graduated in July 2015. He serves as chairman for the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA) from 2015 till date.



18.SIMON KPIEPOGEE, TUTOR

Mr. Simon Kpiepogee had his high school education at Wa Senior High School in the Upper West Region of Ghana. 19. MOHAMMED ALHASSAN, TUTOR, HEAD OF DEPARTMENT, NURSING

Mohammed Alhassan had his senior high school education at Dwamena Akenten Senior High School at Offinso in the Ashanti region of Ghana. He then proceeded to the Nurses' and Midwives, Training College in Tamale where he pursued his Diploma in General Nursing and graduated in 2011. He obtained his Bachelor of Education (Health Sciences) from the University for Development Studies in 2017. He is currently a tutor at the Gushegu Nursing and Midwifery Training College.

20. AGNES AWUNI, TUTOR

She had her secondary school education at the Nkawie Senior High Technical School in the Ashanti Region of Ghana where she completed in year 2009. From there, she proceeded to the Nurses' and Midwive's Training College Tamale, where she pursued a Diploma in Registered Midwifery (RM) graduating in 2013 with Distinction. She currently holds Bachelors degree in Midwifery from the University for Development Studies She graduated from the university in 2020. She is currently a tutor at the Nursing and Midwifery Training College, Gushegu in the Northern region of Ghana.

21. TINA WEPEBA WEPEAMO, TUTOR, FORMER HEAD OF DEPARTMENT OF MIDWIFERY

She had a certificate in Community Health Nursing (CHN) education at Tamale Community Health Nursing Training College and later pursued a Post Basic Midwifery at Goaso Nursing and Midwifery Training College and later had a Diploma in Midwifery with University of Cape coast (UCC). I further pursued a BSc in Public Health and Allied Sciences with Catholic University (CUCG) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education with University of Education Winneba (UEW). Currently pursuing another BSc in Midwifery and also a final year MPHIL Student at University for Development Studies (UDS). Miss Wepeba had rich and varied work experience prior to joining NMTC, Gushegu. She worked in various institutions within Ghana Health Service in various capacities as a Community Health Nurse, Midwife and a public health educator. Before joining the academia, she worked as a midwife in Saboba Hospital in the Northern Region of Ghana.

22. THERESA CODJOE, TUTOR, ACADEMIC COORDINATOR

Madam Theresa Agyiyire Codjoe had her senior high education at the Krachi Senior High school at Kete-Krachi in the Oti Region of Ghana between the years 2005 and 2008. She then proceeded to the Nurses and Midwives Training College, Tamale where she obtained her Diploma in Registered Midwifery in the year 2012. Following her completion and obtaining her license to practice as a midwife, she was posted to Chereponi District Hospital as a staff midwife in 2014 after successfully completing her one year mandatory orientation at the Tamale Central Hospital. Due to her immense and significant contributions to the noble profession, she received a recognition from the ministry and UNFPA as the 2016 Northern Regional Best Midwife. She was later transferred to the Nursing and Midwifery Training College, Gushegu as a tutor. She later proceeded to the University of Development Studies to pursue Bachelor of Science in Midwifery. She graduated with Second Class Upper in the year 2018. She is currently a Senior Health Tutor in the Nursing and Midwifery Training College, Gushegu.

23. ADDO NARH ISMEAL, ACCOUNTANT

Mr. Addo Narh Ismeal had his High School Education at Osino Senior High School in the Eastern region of Ghana. He then proceeded to the Tamale Technical University in Tamale where he pursued his Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting in 2012. He then went on to acquire a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting at the University of Education Winneba in 2019. Currently Mr. Addo Narh Ismeal is a student at the University of Cape coast where he is pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting.

24. ADJEI KYERE VIVIAN, TUTOR

Miss Adjei Kyere Vivian had her high school education at Notre Dame Girls Senior High school in the Bono Region of Ghana. From there she proceeded to the Nursing and Midwifery Training college in Gushegu where she pursued her Diploma in Midwifery graduating with a distinction in 2017. 25. BELIGNAN JENNIFER, TUTOR

Madam Belignan Jennifer had her high school education at the Ghana Senior High school in the Northern Region of Ghana. From there she proceeded to the Nursing and Midwifery Training college in Gushegu where she pursued her Diploma in Midwifery graduating in 2017. She's currently pursuing a Bachelor of science in Midwifery at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

26. ABDALLAH HUDU, FINANCE OFFICER

Mr Hudu Abdulai had his high school education at the Northern School of Business Senior High School in the Northern region of Ghana. From there he proceeded to the Tamale Technical University in Tamale where he pursued his Higher National Diploma in Accountancy and graduating second Class Lower in 2012.

27. ALHASSAN JAMES, LIBRARIAN

Mr Alhassan James had his senior high school education at Business Senior High School, Tamale in the Northern Region of Ghana where he completed in 2012. He then proceeded to the University of Ghana, Legon to study B.A Information Studies and Economics. After graduating in 2016, he had his national service duty at the Tamale Technical University. There he worked as a library assistant before moving to the Gushegu Nursing and Midwifery Training College in 2021 as the substantive librarian.

28. ADUKO JOSEPH, STORE KEEPER

Mr Aduko Joseph had his secondary education in Tamale at the Kalpohin Senior High School, proceeded to Tamale Technical University and attained high National Diploma in Marketing Administration(2009). He further went to University College of Management Studies (UCOMS) Kumasi to offer Procurement and Supply chain management (2017). He finally acquired an MSc in Procurement and Supply Chain Management at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi in 2019.
